He began his art career at Sotheby's New York and Hong Kong in 2012 and was instrumental in growing the house's Asian collector base and curating market-leading blockbuster mix-category auctions and selling exhibitions. A serial entrepreneur and a creative strategist, Yelin champions innovative curatorial approaches, radical partnerships and deep research in all of his work, from a specialty coffee chain to e-commerce, from manufacturing to immersive tech. In addition, he is a partner and creative director at Temple of Light, a leading immersive experiential solutions company based in Shanghai, working with artists, technologists, government agencies and cultural institutions to revitalize Chinese cultural heritage.
